Brad Ball welcomed back at Kardy

The recent commitment of Brad Ball to join the Kardinya Kats for the remainder of the 2020/21 pennant season is a huge shot-in-the-arm for the club’s Premier Division side.

Brad will offer so much to the Kats in terms of his playing ability and effervescence on the bowling green.

The first record of Brad ‘s involvement at Kardinya was during the 1999/2000 season when he was a member of a winning Family and Friends 4s event at the club.

It was nearly five years later that Brad started playing the game seriously.  In fact, it was late in the 2004/05 season, after only a few games of pennant bowls, that he won a club fours title with his father Norm as skipper, John Terrell (third), and Dave Wood (second).

Proving that was no fluke he figured in a back-to-back fours title in 2005/06.

From there Brad’s playing career took-off in a big way, culminating with a State triples title (as skipper) with Dominic Milbourne and Dave Wood as his support crew in 2011-12.

Brad later played at Hilton Park, Warnbro, Sorrento,Cambridge and Dudley Park, winning many club championships titles along the way. He was also a multiple winner of Kardinya’s Shots Up event, plus dozens of other carnival first prizes.

So, to all Kardinya Bowling Club members, please welcome champion bowler Brad Ball back into the fold.
