121,000 REASONS TO BE HAPPY

Kardinya Bowling Club will receive a State Government grant of $121,000 upon the re-election of the McGowan government to pay for the replacement of shade cloth above its A and B green playing surfaces.

The club executive received news of the promised grant when Kim Giddens, the Labor candidate for the local State seat of Bateman, visited the club recently.  Kim was impressed by our club’s commitment to the community.

The money will meet the total cost of replacing the near-worn out shade cloth at the end of the current bowls season.
